Meet The Team

Candice Williams

Owner

I have spent almost 20 years honing my business and accounting skills in public accounting and with a large consulting firm. Once I started my family, I realized I needed more flexibility. I truly enjoyed working with small, women-owned businesses to empower them with financial resources to grow and succeed as Boss Babes. My business organically grew through word of mouth, and I have a fabulous and diverse set of clients. My mission is to bring peace of mind to entrepreneurs with their finances to achieve their goals, maximize their profitability and build wealth. As an entrepreneur, I loathe tax returns, but I know there is much more to finances and have gone through the growing pains. When I’m not crunching numbers, you can find me with my two daughters, my husband of 10+ years, and our 1-year-old King Charles Cavalier. We make a lot of road trips across Texas, visiting family or watching our favorite sports teams. Unless it's softball season, where you find us in the fields practicing, coaching, or volunteering as I serve on the LHYL board as the Treasurer. We love all things small-town Texas. I am always on the go and working towards a healthier work-life balance.

Madi Rackley

Marketing

I graduated from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi with my Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing. I have always been passionate about marketing and recently joined the By the Books team. I help out with social media content, updating website material, and contribute to helping By the Books grow.

Outside of work I enjoy traveling, baking sourdough, spending time with my friends and family, and also my yorkipoo Winnie. I am originally from South Texas but am currently in the North Texas area. I am so excited to be apart of the By the Books team and I look forward to watch it continue to grow.
